Too techy and hard??? Are you mad? If anything, Paul needs to play harder than he has been in the last few months. His fast, tough sets are where he really shines. But, yes, opinions, I understand. That's just how I feel about it.

DJs do NOT play sets for you to listen to liveset mp3s on your computer. They play sets for the LIVE CROWD in that venue. You want PvD to come to say the US tour and totally scrap his playlist every night? There aren't that many good songs my friend. The fact that an artist plays the same songs throughout the year is irrelevant in the critique. -What...he's gonna fly up from Miami to Atlanta...sorry guys I already played all the good songs at Space....here's some prog house...- NO

and lets drag Tiesto in this...since the kids voted him #1 twice!!
look at his sets 2001-2002, the TL is basically the same with dropping some old, trying some new tracks so lets drop this stupid topic of same tracks bla bla..

and speaking of Tiesto who the F C U K said Tiesto is better than PvD at producing? what has Tiesto produced dude? Flight 643? shoot yourself NOW

sorry mate i am gonna copy your sayings a bit :P

for me he is the best dj out there and i enjoyed reflections as much as his earlier work....ok i miss the emotions from his older tracks but it doesnt mean i can enjoy it

I find it mildly amusing that you go on about the difference of being there live but then trash Flight 643. :p

actually.... for the last summerstage... it was VERY trancy and mainstream oriented. i think he played as the rush comes 3 times just to give u an example. hopefully this year he'll play more of a diverse cyph.

True, for a good portion of the time. I will give you that. But when Traffic and Natural Selection ripped through, oh, lord, that's when the night really started. :)

sandstorm03
yea! nothing is better then when paul plays hard for like an hour, then goes to hard trance, its unbelieveable. It just sends chills throught your body.

Seeing PvD play Traffic right at sunset when the lazers went off in Central Park was my musical highlight of 2003, even though i did not love that set in general.
