Usually I'm all over watching this sort of thing, but seeing how my stomach turned when I heard about it on the radio this morning, I think I'll skip this one.
| quote: | | I fully believe that the war was justified, not because of weapons of mass destruction but because of the way the people of Iraqi had been mistreated for decades |
I agree with this statement, but seriously, there have been countless times that the US have backed puppet dictators in other countries for their own gains. |

For Nick - I really hope he rests in peace. For his family and friends - my thoughts are with you.
The problem is that this is going to happen again, probably something even worse. Why? Well, what had the Iraqi's done so far with the hostages? Pretty much not a lot. These Iraqi's quoted revenge as the reason, for the pictures of american soldiers abusing captives. Maybe it was revenge. Maybe the pictures just gave them a legitimate excuse. IT DID. What do the americans think they are doing. Doing those things to the Iraqi captives is one thing. Taking pictures is another. The americans involved will be viewed by the rest of the world as scum. Sorry, but its true. The majority of the world, even I suspect people in the middle east, want peace and civilised behaviour. Now, the americans who came to save them have proved to many that some of them are no better.
Those 'soldiers' who posed and took photos must be ting it now. They have signed their own companions death warrants. Dick heads. The government should send them down for life.
I am so not looking forward to what will happen to the next US soldier to get captured. Come on USA. Smarten up and learn! |

It's an unfortunate situation but no more unfortunate than the deaths of the thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians who have perished in this conflict.
The media is trying to milk this guy's murder for their own profit, and therefore they blow it out of proportion. It's a war. People die. Don't buy into the frenzy. |

I say we go in there and ing kill everyone. politics. morals. This has gone on for long enough. Eliminate the Middle East, and you eliminate 90% of the problems the world has been having in recent years. They don't care about their own lives. They don't care about the lives of others. They don't care about the environment. They don't care about the world. Period.
Give them what they want. Just drop a ing bomb and call it good. |
Amen, brother. Preach the Good Word! |

The video saddens me. Yet I do not feel compelled to drop a bomb on millions and millions of other innocent civilians, regardless of nationality. If this crime was commited in America, all of those men who commited the crime would be given free lawyers, since they can't afford them, and probably be locked away in a mental institution for the rest of their lives, because their parents molested them. Seriously, just because these people are from another nation, does not mean they are less human than an American. Let's think for a moment about the 6 year old boy who lost both of his arms in an American airstrike; he wanted to be a doctor. YOU AND YOUR FASCIST APPROACH TO THE WORLD.

Seriously. And screw all the relativists who cry about "how can you say your culture is any better, you probably seem crazy to them!"
Basically thats like asking why 2+2 isnt 5. because it isnt the way it ing works. Anyways. Imagine how much this world could progress if we never had to worry about the middle east again...ever.
Say it. "The entire world never has to worry about the middle east again"
ahhh so soothing.
"The entire world never has to worry about the middle east again"
im so relaxed im going to go take a nap. |

| Saw it. The video was horrible however that is not what shocked me the most. It was the audio of him screaming that I still can't get out of my head. I feel so bad for him and his family. My prayers are with him. |
