Players might as well not even bother to go up for balls anymore if they're going to call that a foul.
But whatever...now the French are gone as well and it looks just as good on them going out in defeat. At least England brought it down to the last line of penalties, where you don't win on or lose because of skill, but rather luck. |

Like you, he's been throwing insults around for weeks. Can't take a little back eh? Of course I'm still bitter...I have plenty to be bitter about. This happens to England ALL the time...Hand of God in 86, turned back goal in 98, now this...another "invalid" goal because the goalie was out of position and bumped himself into two England players. Can this game get even more ?
It's like fairy basketball on grass. Not saying that Americans (and Canadians) are the most knowledgeable and open minded about sports...but it's exactly this kind of crap that turns them off about football, plus all the Ronaldo types that fall over like bowling pins every time somebody challenges them. The once great game of football has turned into a joke. |

I don't actually mind the Greeks honking and cheering (as long as they don't get out from Danforth) :D
But phew, what a shocker... Thank God I sold my house, drained my bank account, maxed out my credit cards and bet it all on Greece! YAAAAAAHOOOOOO! Too bad ppl didn't want to lend me anything for that bet! Now I'm a millionaire! :D
