what the are you on about? I hate you.. you're such an idiot..
They didn't win by "fluke", the game was pretty much tied up between the two sides, FRANCE being more offensive through the mid-field. Barthez making that save on Beckham's shot was the turn point of the game, france began pressuring and mistake or not, it landed them a victory.
((I'm pretty sure James knew what the consequences would be when he attacked the player rather than the ball.))

seriously, france did not create any danger whatsoever in the secound half, except for that last two minutes... they had the ball a lot, but still, they dind't have any good chances... |

Zidane...a mastermind...great player but he scored on a penalty shot...the first goal was brilliant i'll give him that...the socond...come on...what exactly did he mastermind???
England played more defencively in the socond half to protect the lead which was stupid...
The only reason France won was because Gerard made a stupid play and gave the ball to Henri at the extra time... |

How is Zidane not a mastermind? He's without question the best player in the world. Or do you doubt that?

I don't think he's the best player in the world...
I don't doubt that he's a mastermind...I just don't agree that he was one in this particular game...the French did not play up to the hype, and like I said won in the last minute, both goals due to mistakes by England...
*EDIT*
France is the favourite to win the tournament...but it didn't seem that way at all to me yesterday. They need to step up a lot IMO to prove that they are the heavy favourites indeed |
