ing Portuguese...the fix is clearly in. First England were outright robbed of victory and now every chance is given to Portugal to win vs. Holland. International soccer is bordering on pathetic.
I don't usually cheer for the Czechs, but goddamn I hope they bring those Pork and Cheese s down on Sunday. I live in ty ass London and they're all driving down the street waving their stupid ing flags. I doubt even half of them have even been to Portugal. |

Tell me something - ARE YOU AN IDIOT or just pretending ????
Holland hasn't done again Portugal. Portugal definitely deserved to win. I would go as far as to say that 3-0 would've been a more appropriate score for that game.
As far as the England game goes, portugal DID outplay England ! You can cry all you want about the disallowed goal, but facts remain facts - and the fact is that Portugal WAS a better team that game.
It's funny how everyone always makes fun of crying Italians, but nobody ever notices that brits cry just as much after lost matches. Apparently some British newspapers even published phone and address of the referee that was judging England - Portugal game. in' losers !
BTW, correct me if I'm wrong - but I doubt the brits were running after justice for their goal against Germany in 1966 finals, which wasn't a goal at all. So please shut up. |

Did you even watch the game? Van Nilsterooy was NOT offside!
And of course, the Portuguese were falling over left, right and centre and typically getting all the calls (though it wasn't as bad as the England game). You can say England were outplayed and they were, but Portugal had very few REAL chances on net and I think they only penetrated the box on corner kicks but never broke down the English defence except on the equaliser. Ronaldo and Ricardo are disgraces to anybody who truly values the game. How any Portuguese fan can be proud of players like that is beyond me. You can say what you want about England/Holland or whoever else, but they DO NOT swan dive like that. They like to play fair.
As I said...hopefully the Czech Republic will hand Portugal a 5 nill smashing on Sunday. |

I did see the game. I saw the disallowed goal, and I saw the replay. It was a CLEAR offside !

Again, did you watch the game??? One of the replays showed Beckam diving in his usual fashion. And that was only one replay. Even british fans that were in the bar were saying that they hate Beckam for continuously doing that sort of thing. |

| Beckham does not dive you idiot...he does not have a reputation for that. In the instance against Portugal, his legs were kicked out from under him FROM BEHIND. Ronaldo, on the other hand, was given two red cards for diving in the Premiereship this season. |

Please don't post BS. Beckam was even red carded for diving in WC 98 in game against Argentia. He was hated for it in England for the next year.
Beckam DOES dive. |

are you stupid? He wasn't given a red card for the dive you moron...he was sent off because he kicked at Veron while on the ground after being fouled. A totally unnecessary retaliation, which is why he was hated in England. You obviously know NOTHING. |

Btw, notice how I don't argue about Portugals diving, etc.. I do agree that they were playing dirty in some situations.
Having said that, they did outplay England, and they simply humiliated Holland. They way I see it they deserve to be in the final, even despite their dirty tricks. |

you guys are just plain stupid. That goal has been broken down countless times and it was a goal. I have seen the footage...the lines used to be made of CHALK back then and when the ball came down, no chalk came into the air, proving it landed behind the line. Besides, the next one went in cleanly enough to make it 4-2. |

Hm.. you are right, he did get red carded for kicking Veron.
I do remember clearly Beckam diving in that game; however. And he definitely dived at least once against Portugal. |

and Ronaldo fell over every time an English player came near him, did it again against Holland, did it all season for Man United and will continue to do it unless something is done. This kind of crap ruins the game. |
