Sorry but the replays straight after showed there was no contact whatsoever, campbell jumps on john terry to nod it in and terry himself is not in contact with the keeper. Ricardo falls to the ground when he sees the ball in the net and the ref who was unsited disalows the goal based on this.

such a superb athmosphere after the Win in the quarters of Zurich where the Portuguese together with the Brasilians started some noisy 'honking-concerts' :eyespop:

If you were here you'd see (or hear!) what's a "honking-concert" :toothless

Oh I'm sure in World Cup 06 we will win again only to have it taken away by Urs Meier. He's seems to like doing it so why stop now.

Portugal should thank their lucky stars. They don't deserve to win. England does. They beat them in 89th minute everybody saw it. You just don't want to admit that it was a bad call.

It's a shame this had to go all the way to the pk's. Portugal totally dominated the game with more possesion, more shots, and less fouls during the regular time. England got that early goal.. and thats all they had. Its true that after that goal they became defensive minded, however, its more due to the fact that they didnt have any answers for the Portugese attack. It was an entertaining game though. Lampard saved the English when it counted, good man. Portugal deserves the win though.

To be honest, Portugal Outplayed us for 75% of the match... However thats not what counts. What counts is how many you score, we scored a legit goal and we were ing robbed.

malek your a ing nob end... off

I'll be cheering Sweeden now, they have more chance of winning something then wasting my time cheering Henman at Wimbledon :p

Rooney actually broke a ligament? Ah, thats what all the praising does. Makes the player think he is invincible and then the injury comes. Hope he recovers, he's a talent and way too young to end it here.

Again you miss my point. The fact is goalkeeprs are over protected in every competition in the world, if you lay a hand on the keeper as terry did then he will always get the benefit of the doubt.

I never once said that this is fair, I just said that 8/10 times the same decision would have been made imo.

England were outplayed so I don't know where you get your point that portugal never deserved it.:conf:

ok, if there's not contact then it was badly disallowed.

as i said to my friends, the french left a bit of their luck at the luz stadium. but it still was one hell of a game
