| face it, engerland is except they don't know it yet. everybody else seems to, though. fact is that england stopped playing footy when they scored the opener. from that moment on, the only squad playing was portugal and that's the fatal mistake they made. and don't blame it on the referee, he was right according to the rules. a goal like that would only be given in england and absolutely nowehere else in the world. so don't blame the ref, blame beck's, that overrated piece of . he never should have taken the PK considering the state of the pitch and the way he likes to take his shots. he should have known that. it illustrates his poor self-knowledge. |

Oh yeah I'm sure we're all aware the past can't be changed. Was just disputing the fact that only the English thought that disallowed goal was wrongly called. |

HE WENT UP FOR THE BALL FOR "S SAKE!! OF COURSE it looks like he pushed him down in those pictures....he went up BEFORE Ricardo, which means both he and Campbell BEAT Ricardo to the ball. So just because his arm came down a little means it's a foul? give me a break...it's this kind of crap that makes football a joke to everyone in North America. |
