this game is good but should have been released 2005.. it's just way too much for the cards out now. I'd consider this a tech demo :D :D :D :D :D

Seriously it's not that taxing on any moderate system. My computer is 2 years old and I can run it perfectly fine. If you have an ancient machine then you really can't expect to play any modern game. They can't hold back technology for all the cheepos who don't upgrade every few years. You don't have to run out and buy all new stuff, just have a half way decent system.

**Claps**

/me has a 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 w/ 512 MB RD RAM & GeForce 4 Ti4200 64MB. I average around 30 FPS with low settings. I haven't done any tweaking though, which I probably should do...

Alright, my multiplayer is messed up. Just about any time I try to enter a server, it asks for a password (even though I have a filter set to NOT show passworded servers) or says the server is full (which is crap since I tried to enter 10 different servers with only 1 person each, and it said it was full EVERYTIME). Is this happening to anyone else?

You have to actually type in the IP to connect to servers. I had the same problem, I tried about 20 different servers with 0 people in it, and it always said server full. If you manually type in the IP in the IP box, you shouldn't have a problem. I have no in' clue what the problem it, but that does it for me.

Wtf??, so you cannot move your head up, down and sideways as in Half-life?

Nope, no quick strafing, no peeking around corners, no double jumping, no second fire, no crawling. You can only look around with the mouse and step side to side. :)

Then again I can't really complain on doomm because its a doom game. It's not competing with halflife. If it was then they would have thought of something more, but doom 3 is practically a modernized version of the original doom thats about it. The only thing that was not necessary in doom 3 was the zoom alternate key. That is the most pointless thing they ever put on there. If you haven't found a useful thing for it besides looking closer and going oooo then it's pretty much pointless. I guess they added it for the realism effect of a person.

System Shock 2 was much 'scarier' IMHO.

The game wasn't made for multiplayer, it was meant to be a remake of the original DOOM. Mods will come out though for multiplayer to make it better.
