| i've never met such a huge DuMonde fan, but i have to admit songs like Tomorrow & Memory are inc tracks, DuMonde always have this very distinct sound, almost ethnic sounding. |

There are even bigger fans around here than me....
But I just love that sound...it's all the good parts out of hardtrance combined in one unique sound. There's no other artist around who has that sound, it's one of a kind!
And their sets are awesome....:tongue2
I could go on jabbering about DuMonde for ages....;)

Ah...another Kalt-hater.... Everybody hates that song....
But you would probably go for Tiesto, AvB, PvD or Ferry....or some vague progressive tune. And that's all good with me, I won't be so terrified and shocked about that fact.
And yeah...I go for 'Kalt'... I like that song... There are zillions of people who don't like that song (and I mean zillions), but I like it....out of ALL ALL ALL ALL ALL EDM I choose
KALT KALT KALT KALT
And why? Just one simple reason....
OUT OF ALL EDM SONGS, ALL THE TRANCE EVER MADE
I like this song the most.....
That's why we're all different persons with different taste's in songs, music, clothes, religions, hobby's, artists, sneakers, countries. |

I don't hate Kalt. And I certainly do not dislike Dumonde. But it is one of the poorest showings in their production record. It has nothing to do with a pathological distaste of Kalt, and everything to do with the facts about it:
It's the exact same formula of their past few tracks, only with a much more annoying and trite anthem line. It lacks creativity and substance. It's decent tracklist filler, but not anything worth merit.

You're confusing preference with actual quality. It's preference that I might like broccoli whereas you prefer lima beans. But two people who like broccoli would not disagree on the quality of particular broccoli, because it's a matter of quality, not preference.
My criticism of Kalt is an argument of quality, not of taste. Only some things in the world are relative. |
