Progressive and me are like Tiesto and Special D. behind one deck....that's bound to go wrong. It isn't my taste of music.... I like some Way out West-tracks and got a set from LikWit to chill out.... from time to time and that's it.
So I say that I turn into a markus schulz and probspot fan when hell freezes over. Sorry.... ;)
Oh...that brings me to another point: I'm part of the female minority on this forums....:D
It's all good.... |

I don't hate Kalt. And I certainly do not dislike Dumonde. But it is one of the poorest showings in their production record. It has nothing to do with a pathological distaste of Kalt, and everything to do with the facts about it:
It's the exact same formula of their past few tracks, only with a much more annoying and trite anthem line. It lacks creativity and substance. It's decent tracklist filler, but not anything worth merit.
You're confusing preference with actual quality. It's preference that I might like broccoli whereas you prefer lima beans. But two people who like broccoli would not disagree on the quality of particular broccoli, because it's a matter of quality, not preference.
My criticism of Kalt is an argument of quality, not of taste. Only some things in the world are relative. |
I did not said you dislike DuMonde, and if you would dislike it...I don't really care, actually. That would be a taste-matter.
Maybe this track isn't all quality but when I like tracks there's always a certain moment, a memory to go with. Great sets, nice parties...this song... If I would choose every track by quality.... I could throw away half of my cd's... Tracks don't always have to be electronic masterpieces to caught my attention. Maybe that's different for you, and I respect that and I think this difference is part of the fact we have other visions on the quality or the non-quality of tracks.
DuMonde's productions are indeed similar to eachother... Can't argue with that... But their sound have exactly that vibe I look for in (hard)trance-songs.
I just think quality isn't the most important thing....

| the fact that Flesh is rated #98 in this awful voting poll says it all. and you tied it as well.. at least it beat the phunk phenomenon. |

Yes, it says that it's less popular than the 97 tracks above it, which is exactly what it was created to show.
Problem with that? |

:nervous: i did not get to vote, but
93 - Utah Saints - Lost Vagueness
