Barcelona is having problems on the central midfield where Edmilson has been playing very bad lately.
Espanyol is playing quite well, and their defence has been terrifick tonight.
Kameni is always good ;) |

Rufete has to be the man of the match, setting up Raul Tamudos goal and then scoring the last goal on a 3-on-1 counterattack where he gets a superb pass from Luis Garcia.
Rijkaard really failed bigtime tactically tonight when subbing off Gudjohnsen for bloody Motta! :wtf: I still can't believe he did that! :wtf:
The good thing though is that Luis Garcia, Raul Tamudo and Rufete won this game together with Espanyols great defence and Kameni. They were all great tonight ;)

Iniesta got injured btw, after a dirty tackle by Pandiani who was and had like three clear chances of scoring, but he failed miserably. Rijkaard didn't want to give Ezquerro the chance to play in the end of the game for some reason, instead he chose to play ing Oleguer which is hilarious! :haha:
Espanyol statistics: 8 yellow cards! :wtf: That's insane! Great to see Espanyol win again though! :gsmile:
Btw, Did someone notice Rijkaards punch? He must've been really pissed off :haha: |

| quote: | Eto'o returns to training
January 15, 2007
BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- FC Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o trained for the first time Monday since a serious knee injury in September.
Doctors originally said the Cameroon striker would be out five months after tearing the meniscus in his right knee during a 1-1 draw at Werder Bremen in the Champions League on Sept. 27.
"I'm not going to set a date for when I will return to play. When I do I will be 100 percent. I don't want to return any other way," Eto'o said. "I'm keen to play again but I also want to enjoy this sport for many years to come, so I am not about to risk my knee for the sake of two or three days."
Barcelona has struggled without the 25-year-old Eto'o, the Spanish league's top scorer last season with 26 goals. While the European champions have clinched a spot in the knockout round of the Champions League, the team hasn't won a league game since Dec. 10.
Barca has 35 points and trails leader Sevilla by two.
Eto'o has 68 goals for Barcelona since |
