Yeah, I saw this but didn't have time to discuss it here. I think it's the right move. Obviously age is a factor for all three, but the one that surprised me the most was Eto'o, although I'm now seeing the merit in that they could still get a considerable amount of money for him. His replacement will hopefully be one of three players (in order of preference): David Villa, Karim Benzema, or Dani Güiza. The end of the Euros will probably help speed up the process for players deciding their futures. |
