Unless the family of the artist hold the copyrigth for them. Thatīs why you wont see never any trance remake of The Beetles after 80 years(at least i was told 80, maybe is 70 as you said). Anyway thatīs a new rule/law that in the past was not possible and thatīs why the melodies of the classic music artist can be used.
But about Adagio 4 strings, you all think is a Classical piece from the ages of Mozart and Beethoven and you all are wrong. According to his biography, Samuel Barber born in 1910 and died in 1981, so in this case i assume that has not been versioned cause the copyrigth time has expired.. ;) thatīs a point that maybe William Orbit or maybe a Sony employee could clear us :)

gotta say that p2p rules! honestly if it wasnt for p2p i would have never known about this aspect of music and would still listen to cheese and would right now probably be purchasing the latest clubland extreme. lol! if it wasnt for p2p i wouldnt have the collection of vinyls i have today, so theres one for the riaa, in this case p2p helped the record industry :D |
