nice party. shame it ended at 5.30h though. Niklas and Menno were starting off the final set of the night brilliantly (some unknown track with a huge epic intro and breakdown, and then after that Sunrise at Palamos), but Asta decided they had enough for one night
:(

overall i had a good time. pity we only arrived at 1am (we spent an hour and a half in traffic jams on the way down  ), so we had to miss Airwave and Likwit. :(

i pretty much stayed in the second area for the entire evening. Niklas Harding spun a great set, starting off proggy to end with a couple of uplifting bombs. sometimes the trance he plays tends to be a bit fluffy, but no such thing yesterday when he threw down one bomb after another! one of those bombs was his first ever production.. i can already say that it's going to be massive! huge synths and a very uplifting melody.. watch out for it! (only us 5 BeTA's have heard it so far, since we were the only ones attending Niklas' set :p )

then Menno de Jong took over. i hadn't heard a set from him yet, so i didn't really know what to expect. he surprised me in a very positive way, and made me realize trance definitely has a future. a lot of the tracks these days feature the same sounds and tend to be boring because of that.. but that didn't apply to Menno's set. yes, he played some uplifting trance, but a kind with lots of emotion and warm sounds. a good example is his own Halcyon - Watermark. just awesome.

next up was Sander Van Doorn/Sam Sharp. "banging" is the right word to describe his set. a few dodgy transitions, but the crowd didn't seem to mind.. they went absolutely wild during a set that was focused on powerful tech-trance. i was a bit beat after Niklas and Menno, so i kind of attended SvD from the background. he only got to play 45 minutes, because at 04.45h Asta decided to close area 2.

we then went downstairs where Signum were giving the crowd the time of their life... including me, when they dropped Solar Factor - Deep Sonar, followed by Push - The Legacy (Club Mix). :eyespop: all my energy was back and i was ready to go on untill 8 o'clock. but unfortunately Asta decided otherwise.

so.. to conclude: i had a great time, but the party shouldn't have ended so early.
