edit: I'm 4-0 against the spread this postseason! :) |
You mean Vikings v. Eagles
Rams v. Falcons. Excuse me for assuming they'd play the Eagles. Rams haven't shown the ability to contain Vick.
Hey, here's an idea: Rams (8-8) vs. Vikings (8-8) for the NFC Championship. Ha ha.. just kidding. That would be awesome though. The teams battling for the right to lose 55-7 in the Super Bowl. |

My predictions for the Divisional round:
Jets (+9) v. Steelers
This will be another defensive battle. But the Steelers running game will eventually grind out the Jets D
Steelers 17, Jets 13
Falcons (-7) v. Rams
The Rams have shown an inability to stop the run. Atlanta has a pretty good D that has thwarted a lot of opponents this season.
Falcons 28, Rams 14
Colts (+2.5) v. Pats
No shutdown corners plus having maybe no Richard Seymour will be too much for Bellichek to overcome.
Colts 35, Pats 31
Eagles (-10) v. Vikings
Will the Vikings actually tackle like last week? A return to mistacking will let the Eagles have fun over the Vikes D. Plus, the Eagles blitz happy defense will get to Daunte
Eagles 31, Vikings 17
Record with the spread this postseason (4-0)
Predicting games without the spread are for sissies ;) |

I know it's early but I want to make my predictions anyway.
Steelers 27 - Jets 10
Indy 30 - Pats 24
Philly 21 - Minnesota 17
Rams 24 - Atlanta 23
I think Indy is gonna do it. I don't think I can hate NE anymore anyway. Peyton Manning to Harrison in OT to win it.
Sorry can't pick against my team against Atlanta. Wilkins 38 yrd FG to win it with 18 seconds left. Vick 10-26 passing for 186 yds, rushes for 148 yds though. Not enough... could happen...
Steelers run the bus over the Jets. |

Very, very true about the Rams except they really shut down Shaun Alexander last week after he torched them the first 2 games. The Rams DL is playing much better towards the end of the year. Don't get me wrong, it's still shaky.
Yeah, I made my predictions w/ respect to the point spread. |

You're so right. He gets the most meaningless yards in football, none of the tough ones when the games on the line. |
