The Pats just absolutely dominated arguably the best offense ever and you're telling me Roethlisberger, a rookie who played awful last game, and the Steelers are going to win? Please...

The Steelers got lucky Brien couldn't hit a fieldgoal for the life of him. The way Rethlisberger and the Steeler's special team played, they'll lose no doubt.

Pats get a rematch against Pitt

And Philly gets another shot at the Super Bowl. Will this be the year that the Eagles finally break through and make it?

yea, the pats D is gonna eat roethlisberger alive. steelers will win if they run run run, control the clock, and do not let corey cillon run run run and control the clock. whoever runs the ball better will win this game.

I think the Steelers have a good chance to beat the Pat's, better than most will give them credit for. One thing is, Ben's thumb cant be bothering him - it was obviously bugging him this past weekend, and showed in his passing - hopefully he wont make a rookie mistake like he did and throw into the field instead of just throwing it out of bounds. Two, Steelers have Bettis, Staley, and Hayes - and ferocious trio they have to control the game and the clock, but you cant give the Pats the opportunity to stack 8 or even 9 in the box anticipating the run. Third, Ben is gonna have to deal with masses of different blitz packages I just hope it doesnt intimidate him.

i think u're wrong. the pats didn't have corey dillon last time. and everyone is forgetting tom brady. i honestly think the jets had the best chance of all the remaining teams this past weekend to beat the pats.

Last week, I let more of what I wanted to happen to influence my picks. I despise the Pats and therefore wanted the Colts to win and picked them. However, my brain knows how good the Pats are and tells me they will win this week.

Corey Dillon is a HUGE difference b/w the last game. Plus, Belichick is a master at adjustments and won't make the same mistakes when they lost. Definitely I agree though, Pitt to win will have to control the clock with the run but Ben will have to play much better than last week. He is gonna have to take some chances down the field at some time to open things up. I just don't think he's gonna do it.

I think Pitt has the best chance though, c'mon they have only won 15 games in a row. Maybe Atlanta if they made it just because Vick is so unpredictable. If he is forced to pass and is somewhat contained in the pocket, then their offense can struggle. He'll def make some out of this world plays against anybody but you have to contain the rest. I think Philly chokes again.

New England vs. Atlanta

I see New England winning a 3rd Super Bowl. Then I'll puke.

the big question is.....will dillon run wild on the steelers?

I doubt it
Member of X
Yes, I highly doubt running wild.

But it this very plausible?

Brady > Big Ben YES
Dillon = Bettis/Staley YES

Go Steelers!!

(just because I'm predicting Pats doesn't mean I want that to happen. I'm only like 52% sure or that happening anyway).

Can anyone exploit Troy Brown being used as a DB? Man, that guy is incredible. Shutting WR's down, then returning the punt, then catching passes. Props!!
