i don't know how many people here are nfl nuts on the board, but since we have two baseball threads, why not an nfl football one?
i went with verndogs (vernon) to my first nfl game ever this past sunday to watch the jets/bills. let me tell u, it's fun whooping and hollering outdoors. u don't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors while yelling your lungs out. game shouldn't have been as close as it should have, but the jets came out with the win.
yes, i'm a jets and giants fan. that'd probably sound wrong to people but eh, what can u do. i like a few other teams in the league too, but i gotta put my local teams first. thoughts? comments? how about listing your fantasy football teams? (again, yes i know we have that thread somewhere) |

| I watched the pre-season scoping out the Giants and the Jets and wasn't too happy. I sorta dropped the fact that I'll follow football this season but much to my disinterest, I've seen the Giants going on a 4-0 run at 4and1, and the Jets going 4and0. Hrm maybe I should keep following it! ok ok after the world series... |

I'm not from New York and a newbie here... so it sucks having the Jets/Giants games on all the time. Giants/Cowboys? ZZZZZZZZZZZ
I am a Rams fan back since the Eric Dickerson days in LA. They just snuck up and beat the Seahawks (I'm glad they switched over to the game in the last moments as the New York area was the only one not showing this game). With Tampa and Miami in the next 2 weeks, Rams have a strong possibility of 5-2.
As for the New York teams, I will have to go with the Giants just because Kurt Warner was once was great with my team. I didn't think he would survive more than a game or so but it seems he has recaptured a little magic.
New England/Seattle next, should be a good one. |

| iggles? sorry, there's nothing more satisfying/revolting than watching eagles fans cry themselves to death after one of their teams falls short during a season. it verges on suicide =P |

I am also a Jets and Giants fan. I think that is because they have been playing in the same stadium for many years. It's not like the yankees and mets where they play in separate stadiums.
Both teams look very strong out of the gate. You have to give major credit to Tom Coughlin, he is doin a great job. |

the test comes when we play new england in 2 weeks.. all the teams we've playes were wack. next week is san fran who arent doing well either.
