Yeah, now say the same thing about Britney Spears or 50 cent, and do it with a straight face.
Popularity != skill. There are plenty of DJs who can mix circles around him, both technically and selection wise, who wont even make the top 100. |

well as far as i see it
dj mag created a poll for the ppl to vote
the ppl voted for tiesto
using those votes and now throne/stature...he gained huge gigs in olympics, US, ..etc...
so i think it was rude of him not to show up for the award
because with out it he would be no where..at least not doing all these huge gigs
regardless of how many ppl feel he is the best, the fat cats giving him these sets say..ohh look , he is on tht top of the dj mag poll lets get him and pay him lots to play here
i dunno what his real excuse was or whether this is a lark..but its rude |
