No, hes probably right, but i doubt he knows tiesto any better than that other guy does.

Its one word against another.

BTW PVD is a crack addict.

So, djmag would prefer to get Tiesto a truckload of cocaine and a hundred hookers over a cheese tray?
I would have thought demanding the first would have been more reason to claim the guy was up himself than the second........

So accepting these gigs is him feeding his ego? What bull, if YOU got offered these gigs, you'd do it too! No one would turn down playing at the Olympics, its not a reason to criticise the guy........

releasing Parade of Athletes is tho...

i for one am a fan. his set as space in may 2003 was wicked but every since then he's been to space about 3-4 times and hasent really been able to replicate that energy. his track selection is okay but not what it once was. also, at least at space use to play for about 4-4.5 hours, his last set he only played about 3.5 hours and just took off with no encore, not to mention his first two hours bored me and all of my friends to death.

in my opinion PVD puts on a much better show, even though he doesnt bounce around in the booth as much a Tiesto.

The people that come up with this ing should be shot in the ing head!!! Yeah that really says how much it has gotten to his ing head right????......WRONG!!! He missed out on the party in London because he was preparing for his two Concert gigs.....they even announced at the concert thats why he missed this event. This just shows that Tiesto still really cares about his fans more than anything. I give him mad props for missing that to make his show to more that 50,000 of his fans BETTER!!! SO YOU DJ MAGAZINE.........YOUR ING LIST DOESNT MEAN ANYWAYS!!!

Well, in all fairness you shouldn't back out of contracts at the last minute no matter what. He should've had his PR / Agent coordinate his schedule better so he didn't somebody over.

Yeah but in all fairness..... happens and I think he made the right decision. Contract or not.....playing to all his fans at his concert was more important. It sucks that things didn't work out and he couldn't make it. No need for DJ Mag to cry like ing babies.

I don't know if you realized how funny that sounds when you said it. "between the lines". Classic.

Mr.Verwest is not the DJ you think he is. ;)

idd he is not. hes like every other person who claimed fame in a short period. who can blame him, he just wants to be a badass :p
a classic case of a oppurtunist.

Well, if it was my magazine that crowned somebody #1 and then he ditched out on a party dedicated to that then I'd probably be pretty bitter as well. However, I must agree that they went about venting their frustration in the wrong way.

Obviously a gig in front of 25,000 people is more important, but it's very unprofessional not to coordinate it so these things don't end up happening.
