If you dont think your going to be able to do something, but still say you are anyways its pretty rude. Who knows, Tiesto probably dosnt even know where his next gig is, his managment give him a ticket and he just goes... :p |
Exactly....so if Dj Mag is gonna bitch anybody...it should be his management....or ID&T Radio for that matter. Who the knows.....maybe ID&T Radio made him stay there untill they perfected the show. |

You Tiesto haters are simply jealous of his success. |
That's such a poor argument. I have nothing but admiration for other popular DJs who I respect, such as Paul van Dyk and Sasha. You'll find the same case for every other person with an axe to grind over Tiesto. Ergo, the criticism isn't based on envy of his success, since such critics would have then have a problem with every major DJ. That's far from the truth.
The spite directed toward Tiesto is largely a function of his egotistical drive to use ranking and image as a profitable personality cult, which grates against the traditional spirit of electronic dance as an anonymous, communal experience centered on the music itself, not the person spinning the records.

I know I wouldn't, but that's because I'm gay. :haha:
In any case, the verdict is in from my many straight accomplices: those two are skanky, skanky, skanky hoebags! :p |

Did anyone yet notice, how if Tiesto HAD shown up, they'd have a spread on him, personal interview, probably ask for a small set by him. They'd fkin love him. What does the magazine want? They want BIG NAMES, they want BIG MONEY, they want PUBLICITY! how do you get more publicity? get bigger people.
Like all votes, the better candidate will always win, regardless of skills. Kerry or Bush, Tiesto or Armin. Remember, there's still 2 other megastars in there too, Paul Van Dyk, did PVD show to the party? Sasha, did Sasha show to the party? Possibly not. But, ooooho, Armin showed! The thing you can tell with Armin is, he wants to be big. I like armins skills and productions, but there's just something about him that isnt quite catchy.
I personally, am a Tiesto man, thats by my own choice, after he removed Sasha (yes, AirDrawnDagger^^) i gave him a chance, i dont regret it.
No one is perfect, and as with anything, there's always the next best thing, there's always a bigger fish. For now, and rightly so according to the vast majority of those who voted, Tiesto is the biggest.
Why not, if its such a hard thing to, start yet another poll on the forums, this years top 10, maybe 25, and get voting for what the correct placings should be. |

Due to technical problems during Armin's Flight (BA 219) to Denver, he unfortunately won't make it in time to perform tonight at The Church in Denver. He will continue his North American tour as planned."

yes other DJ's do have to cancel at the last minute too, did anyone pick up on this one? Yes, DJ's do have busy lives. I'm sure if Tijs was comfy to go to London, he would of, but never. So end of. |

I see no problem with a fine selection of cheeses. Much preferable to coke, that's for sure.
As for hookers, Tiesto has that down to disgustingly skanky perfection:
Other than that, I love the article. The Oakenfold cycle was doomed to repeat itself, and I think we've just witnessed the opening volley! :haha: |
:stongue:
Notice Tiesto is trying to grab her tit but she is holding his hand back:haha: |

Well, DJ Mag was not the only one to get their #1 wrong... See my avatar for the biggest screwed up in vote for 2004. Same people who voted for Tiesto were probably responsible for up in 2004 election.

Yeah, so this is a bit off the Tiesto topic, but I was so ing psyched to go to Armin's show at the Church. My girlfriend and I didn't even find out he wasn't spinning that night till we got inside, what crap.... Sorry, for the tangent. Please resume your fanatic Tiesto bashing (or defending). |
