finally just got up...
First I went with 6 other guys...we showed up around 9:30
damn stupid weather conditions...couldnt drive above 40-50km/hr!!
althought there was a huge line since everybody was showin up around the sametime...we still got it in really fast...5-10 min max...
anyways we got it...crowd was awesome...place was really kewl..
thank god there were no raver kids!
Tiesto was late to show up...until around 11:30...but since the moment he started spinning....i couldnt stop fakin dancing!
one of the most beautiful trance sets ever!
finished around 3:30 I guess...it seemed like he wanted to play more but couldnt...it passed by really fast...by the time he had finished I felt like i was just warming up!!
Anyways so we decided to go continue our nite at aria...but my friends started chickening out one after the other until it was only me that wanted to go...so i was like fuk it...i wont go alone...and ended up goin back home
but damn that nite was awesome...lights were incredible...sound system wasnt bad....i dunno whether its the same or not...but the one at aria is so much better and louder...it could be the space factor...it may sound better in aria since its smaller.....aaanyways...
thanks for everybody who had a hand in this....i saw nobody that i recognized from T.A except Luis and jf...but ofcourse they were beside the DJ booth...

Tiesto ft BT - love comes again <- 1000x better when heard live!!

my disappointment is not playin Flight 643...that tune is one of tiesto's best ever! he wouldve rocked the place if he had played it...
oh and he also played
william orbit - barber's adagio for strings (tiesto's rmx)
there was 1.5 special hrs between 1:00 and 2:30 where he played one awesome tune after the other...every single tune was aweesome!! damn it felt like a major orgasm :p |

Yeah it was a freakin wicked party, anyways in my part of the place, people were going crazy, and i didnt have too much beefed up people around me so had some room to do my stuff. Seriously wicked party. (loads of hot ladies)
As for the set,arrived at 11, wasnt sure if it was tiesto,looked in front then said "Damn since when tiesto actually looks good"...then saw that it wasnt him,he got busy around 11:30.The start like usual sucked like hell, i think its his trademark. I sat for a good 40mins yawning.Then about an hour-hour 1/2 into the set,starts dropping a bit more techy beats to,people really got into it- until 2am maybe. Then it went up and down mixing cheesy stuff with some schweet beats. So no not his best set but still enough to get me off my feet,wasnt going nuts though.
The place was really well set up,coat check
went really fost, i really appreciated that cause i was really pissed from the half and hour walk outside with the crazy blizzard going on and my cold that wasnt quite gone,had a freakin headache, toughed it out. Inside it was cool, no where comparable to cream @ bell centre, but still it was pretty neat. Digged the two cubes hanging in the air.
And finally after the show, we knew the snow was gonna be freakin bad around the cars. Stayed outside at least an hour to freakin shovel and push cars. Now i got headache,coughing like i smoked all my life,back pains, i get irritated easy like i was in my pms and i got to study...but it was worth it :toothless |
