| i know i'll get majorly flamed for this, but i really think natalie portman is overrated as an actress. i mean she's definitely pretty, but every movie i've seen with her in it, she overacts. she really annoyed me in garden state. i know i'm probably alone on this one. she has that weird lisp, and talks like a 2 year old. i also find it annoying when actors/actresses try to prove themselves by going to an ivy league college (cuz they have the $$$ and status) and then major in psychology.:rolleyes: |

natalie portman hasnt done good since professional imo... she did win a golden globe for her role in closer but i havent seen it. |

DAMN I so believe Paris' will steal a Grammy with her House of Wax performance. It's one thing to flaunt everything you have (face value) for the tabloids and another to be modestly living your life with a minimal interview here and there. Besides, isn't majoring in advertising the new psychology bandwagon? |

I picked that movie cover up at blockbuster and looked at the back and saw a picture of a scene with her in a short pink wig and got instantly annoyed because it looked like the same scene from lost in translation when scarlette was wearing the same exact wig sitting next to bill murray...that’s one of my favorite movies.
Anyway, yea I heard good things about that movie (Closer), but she really does annoy me and I don’t think I’d be able to get past it if I watched it. I could try though.. |

welll... i may disagree if she did not do any films outside the post-star wars trilogy ...
however, she has played in some pretty good roles outside star wars .. i liked her in 'garden state' .. also 'where the heart is' (flame me for liking it, for it is a chic flic and i am a guy .. :haha: .) .. and 'the professional' was good too .. (which i don't understand why they removed the movie from the imdb list ...) .. |

it may be, but at least i'll be doing something with my degree.
and i don't believe there has ever been a moment where i defended paris as an actress....only her looks:D

the movie is known in the US as "The Professional" but known elsewhere as "Léon"
