One of the best around IMO. Incredibly nice guy as well. One of my first experiences dealing with a DJ and still my favorite. I have nothing bad to say about this man other than I definetly don't get to see him as much as I would like.
Mark is one of a kind. All the best in the new year. |

I've said it before...Mark Oliver easily belongs in that booth along with the best of the "big names" who pass through Guv.
His extended sets are always fun and his diversity allows him to open or close (or both) for any event lineup at Guv/KH. He's the ultimate resident...in a great venue...and we are fortunate to have had him here for so long.
Here's hoping he chooses to stick around for quite some time! |

| How many kids does he have now? One or two more and I don't think he'll be able to keep up this lifestyle.... perhaps Charles should start training Mark 2.0? |

I'd love to see charles train a dj. I know what you mean though but you cant train artists. |

To me, Mark represents the Toronto trance scene.
Well, you girls and guys too.

Actually Beanieboy, Mark T. and I were just having a conversation about what happens when MO decides that he wants to settle down and actually spend some weekends with his kids. It's bound to happen some day... right?
Who in the city could ever imagine walking into "His" Guv and telling the world you're the new resident???
I'm hoping Mark plans ahead and grooms somebody to be his successor. And I am most definitely not trying to push the guy out... I just worry about a Guv without him - or somebody (almost) as good.
I've seen BeanieBoy DJ... he has a different, err... style, but maybe if it comes with free beer... (and I mean for the audience, not just for him) he can be shaped and moulded by MO. (LOL) |
