Bringing back the ol' school....

After this past weekend, hearing Mark spin those classics again, made me wish I could go back in time and do those past couple of years all over. I have made so many great friends and memories while listening to the sounds of Mark and embracing his dedication to the scene.
Its too bad that there really aren't many MO Solo nights anymore, those were always the best :D

THANK YOU FOR YOUR YEARS OF DEDICATION AND LOVE!!

now I just need to get my hands back on those cd's from 2004 that I have lost :( need to hear me screaming, lol!

I am probably gonna get shot for this but I have been frequenting Guvy for five years now and have loved my times there. A few years ago were just absolutly magical but the parties as of late have been lacking quite a bit from mister MO. Personally I think its time for a change in the DJ booth and let him produce, get some fresh face in there that will revive Guvy from the depths its falling into. Thank Mark for all you have given and mad props.

Alright time to put the blindfold on, shot away.

I agree with you, somewhat. The best times at guv were between fall 0f 2004 up until end of 2005, into 2006. Even in 2006 some of the best nights there were MO solo nights.
I think where it all began to fall apart was when Guv starting bringing in Headliner/guest DJ's every F*ckin weekend, one would think for Mark it must get frusturating haveing to spin for a few hours, break for a few then back on again for a few more. It must chop everything up and even make some lose interest and focus.

^^I expected you to say something like that...I do agree with you in a sense...But I have to say there is nothing like MO's closing sets. As far as producing goes...I got a chance to talk to him on Saturday and he was telling me about a new track that he is working on...From what he said it sounds like it should be good ;)

Mark, thank you for keeping Guvy where it is for so many years. One more appreciation from another fan...

im lacking the mark in my life at the moment, i would have done anything to be able to have gone last weekend. I need a Mark night ASAP!

The man's done a lot for the local Toronto scene.

Deserves a lot of respect! (Though I don't dig his housey sound...)

not quite, hey? it was recorded the night of oakenfold.

disc I is 5:45-6:55am
disc II is 7:30-8:15am

on disc II (the encore disc), after you hear the bouncers kicking everyone out for about three minutes, a section from the nov. 6th solo set comes in as a hidden track. two special guv songs, those.

Open Your Eyes and Meet her at the Love Parade mixed with "The Rules" (whateva its called), "Rule number 4 Always remember the Music"

and yes MO closing sets are always Prime Time

i'm going to have to agree with danielle here (surprise surprise) but if anything we don't have ENOUGH mark o. his solo nights are amazing, and him being forced to share weekend after weekend with "headliners" is taking away those nights from me

give MO his booth back!
