seriously, what is everyone's problem with paying cover?

Here we have a kick ass club, world class sound system, international DJs killing it weekly, and a positive vibe week in and week out. This club is single handedly reviving Toronto's house scene and seriously putting toronto back on the map for being one of *the places* to play.
And here you guys are complaining about paying cover. WTF! You're not all guests of the owner, so quit whining about paying cover at such a great place, and do your part to support the scene. If you think it's too expensive, off and go somewhere else and party with the 19yr old starving students with their top 40 music.

Hell, I was suppost to get free cover the entire year of 2005, but do I care if it doesn't happen? No. Is it gonna stop me from coming out and supporting what I think is the best thing to happen to toronto clubbing since industry? No. People just gotta stop whining...It's pissing me off.

Well said buddy! The club is there to make money but not take advantage of people. No one here is under the legal age of 16, therefore everybody works, so dig into your bank account for that astronomical price of 30 bucks for a kick ass club, sound system, world djs, and pay for what you want. Like PLEASE, it's not expensive at all, so get over your cheap ass cover charge thing people and come to the club and have a good time. If you can pay 35 bucks on a pill, you can certainly pay 30-35 bucks for cover. GEEEESHHH!!!

I've got no problem with paying cover, as many of other people here as well, but I have a problem with people basically false advertising something. If I am told that I will get in for free, I expect that to happen. Same way, if I am told that there's no guestlist available for the event, I go along with that.

It's just that this past saturday it looked like one of those Future Shop sessions... you see an ad for a $25 savings on an item, you run down to the store and they end up being "sold out" already, so they try and sell you a similar item at only $5 off. ;)
