When you take it to court, you first go to a pre-trial conference. They make a deal with you to pay a lesser fine and withhold points, unless you got way too many tickets in recent time, or if you really want to fight the ticket, you request for a trial.
I've gotten a few tickets in my early days of driving, and always took them to court. One thing I did was pay attention to all the others cases before mine. You learn a lot! ;) And don't use those ticket clinic things. Unless you have a really busy work schedule/lifestyle :)
Any more legal advice for tickets, I'm here to help! :haha: |

| Yea, most def. take it to court.. and I don't know, but if you take it to a Ticket Clinic or get some lawyer, you dont have to do the Driving School that they make you go after a ticket.. they give you two options.. you either get some points, pay a much higher fee, or, pay a way lower ticket, and go to the driving school... Ive gotten a whole lot of consecutive tickets.... and have a learned a bit from it. Generally, if you give it to a lawyer, they usually know the judge, so the judge does them a favor tours their case ( which would b yours ) .. and generally you will end up paying much less, without having to hassle with time or w.e requirements the judge may ask you ( driving school ) .. but, hence is not a moving violation, it may differ. :conf: |

GA LAW: HOV lane violation - 1 point
and actually go to court and talk to the solicitor, they might lower your fine since it's your first offense ;)
btw....1 point for 4th and subsequent offense :p |
