I just watched it for the first time last night. What a tease....
1 hour long show, all the hype and drama for a 1 minute fight :rolleyes: :tongue2

WTF Eric. In that 1 min a lot of damage was caused. The winner might not even be able to stay on the show anymore! UFC rox!

Hell yeah dude! And they win 5k if they do a KO! Plus the wack people are winning because of the submission moves. In a real fight the loser would probably win, atleast in the chris / khavchek fight (sp?) |

Well in a real fight, most of those submission guys wouldn't stand a chance. The new UFC rules forbids the attack of certain very vulnerable targets: eyes, throat, balls, that bone behind the ears. And for good reason because people are very likely to die when hit there. Have all those critical spots forbidden makes groundfighting essential to modern day UFC. As with any groundfighting, it's less about technique than about strength. Hence the weight divisions. That's why most of these guys are submission fighters with a splash of punching. Nonetheless, it's still fun to watch.

I was totally going for Chris and I'm glad he's back. But he is too emotional when it comes to fighting. I still haven't seen everyone fight but hopefully someone in Chuck Lidells team. Even though Couture's team always wins.
Which I find pretty damn funny because in real life Lidell beat Coture so I would have thought he could have picked some better fighters ;]. Last weeks fighter on Lidells team was uber wack! |
