Horrible...Suicide inside The Eaton Centre..

There's nothing in the news about this;

Just heard from my sister that around 5:05pm someone threw himself from the third floor inside the Eaton centre and was blown to peices..,,,
The sad thing is she was 3 feet away from it when this happend!

and still i don't see anything on the news!!
or the net!!!

I hope she didn't actually SEE this happen...OMG! :( That is absolutely horrible. So sad.

by blown to pieces do you mean when they made contact with the ground or by some other method?

im just happy your sister and others werent physically hurt by this. He could have killed someone in the process of hitting the floor

Generally you won't see stories like these on the news... (just like subway jumpers). Statistically, they've been proven to result in increased copycat acts when published.

That's so sad. I hate when I hear news about suicides. This kid here at McMaster jumped off a bridge after failing a semester. Sent shockwaves throughout the entire schools community. It's a shame.

oks.. it was juss on the news on CFTO ..

man in his 40's.. top level jump , fell infront of the Sears indoor entrance near the north end of the mall..

remains ALIVE .. taken to the St. Mike's hospital trauma centre

The fact that he jumped is sad, but now I'll call him a dumbass. :mad:

I remember last summer there was a jump across the street from my work; jumped from the top of a 14 story building...a young woman apparently... :sadgreen:
