Interesting that they mention tourism. What does Toronto have to offer for tourists? CN tower where you have to pay $20 to get a sky view of the city? Shopping? Big Buildings? The Toronto islands?
I'm sorry, but none of that would entice me to come here as a tourist. We get big name DJs, and the clubs can be fun, but other than that, I'd prefer to NOT be in Toronto, and I can see why other Canadians would prefer that too. |

Toronto has a lot.
But yes they are quite dumb not to encourage nightclub tourism. Places like Guvernment and (in the past) the gigantic raves draw people from all over the US and Canada. Instead all they do is discourage tourism with stupid laws and restrictions. I wish politicians would get with the program. |

Ive had temporary residence in various cities in Canada and the US, and theres no place like Toronto. |

i don't think the rest of canada hates toronto - the "rest" of canada is Just Jealous that we are able to afford to live and absord all the toronto has to offer!

like they said, its a big ugly concrete faceless city. Montreal has charm, Vancouver has the ocean, Calgary has the rockies, Toronto has the lake? Yonge? hell that doesnt even deserve one cheer let alone 3.

I know that sometimes it looks like a congrete jungle (if you will) but face it, it's Fun!!!
