yaeh though, even though that Montreal is at least half of Quebec in term of population, and though and that you've been to every part of Quebec... or maybe they have something against ignorant people like you, especially coming from Ontario.
You might have point, though. |

Right. :wtf:
So my friends in BC are jealous of Toronto. Last I checked, Vancouver and the Island probably won't ever need to call in the army to clean snow off the roads. The weather is usually pretty nice if you don't mind rain. Meanwhile, the air is much cleaner, the scenery is gorgeous, and the infrastructure, last I checked, WASN'T collapsing in on itself. And to top this cake off, the weed is so good and so readily availible, it's practically legal already.
Yup, lots to be jealous of Toronto for.
*sigh* I miss Vancouver... :( |

I dont think they are jealous. I think they are just sick of hearing about it.
I know i would be if i lived somewhere else yet all the media i received was Torontocentric. Its the same way Torontonians resent Americans. |

As for the army thing yet once again.
Does anyone realize the economic impact of a city as big as toronto that is snowed in. Mel was just using his resources and from what i understand the feds paid for it. so why not.
how about when Quebec had every hydro worker in Canada helping out with that huge ice storm a few years ago. Or what about equalization payments to Quebec? I know they are different circumstances? Were in a country that likes to help each other i guess.....
Besides, our military has to be good for something ;) |

hehehe but it was only a snowstorm, you can't really compare it with the ice storm in quebec, 1.7 million without power for a week in the coldest month of the year. |
