not needed. You gotta be at a pretty high level of fitness and working out knowledge to effectively utilize it. Adds a lot of water weight right of the bat which makes you look bigger but if you stop you drop weight off. You gotta have intensity before you use that stuff. most beginners dont.
there is a really expensive thing called...gahh what it is...nitrox...no...nitro something. it uses blood instead of water...its 2x as expensive but ive heard good things. but until you work out for a while...dont use em. get your basics down first. |

i'm in. this sounds fun, and it's something i've been trying to get myself to do. one catch tho... where to start? :conf: someone help me get some sort of workout regimen going, as i don't know how to go about this. never really "wroked out" other than playing sports.
i want definition. weight loss is not really a concern for me, other than some gut reduction.
EDIT: i'll repost this in the workout thread, to get myself a rotuine. |

Its really important to build some muscle mass first.
You often see people in the gym that put in lots of time on the cross trainer, walker or bike and not really lose that much weight, or get the definition they desire.
You want to break down your body into these groups:
Biceps (Front side of the top of your arm)
Triceps (Back side of the top of your arm)
Chest
Legs
Back
Dependent on how often you want to train is which you do when. |
