I only met Cinar a few times: once at System, then at PVD last June @ the Guv.

He said that he was 'looking for another alternative to capitalism' -that's something that will always stick with me.

I was hoping that I would run into him again.
God willing, it will be a long wait.

I went out over the weekend - and thought of Cinar's Death a lot -

He will be missed dearly!:(

I know some are still overwhelmed by this - but please think positivly and live life to the fullest and smile when you think of him b/c that is what he would love from looking down!

Barry just told me the news..

Although I never knew him, I was always a fan of his upbeat and bubbly attitude on BPM..

Knowing he's no longer with us is a shame, and I regret not meeting someone that many spoke so highly of.

My thoughts are with his friends and family.

RIP.

I remember Del introducing me to Cinar, I think it was PVD (the wed night Koolhaus gig). He had just recently put up a set for download and I had loved it, so of course I was quite impressed.

Wish I could of got to know him better, very nice guy!

:( I can't believe this is true ... I just can't. I never knew Cinar personally, nor did I ever meet him, but I was priviledged enough to watch him for about a year or so when he was still at BPM:TV. Let me tell you, he really made BPM awesome .... his interviews were always great ... I was always anxious to see who he would interview next ... as he interviewed many European Dj's ... and a lot of trance artists. Cinar brought a lot of the European sound to BPM ... he talked about ID-T and thier parties .... he was always very enthusiastic and you could see he truly loved the music. He really did make BPM great, and I was very sad the day that he left.

He will be very dearly missed. R.I.P. Cinar ... my condolences go out to his family.
