| I don't know. I think PvD's got the right to speak his mind and all, and even though he's taken chances on some decidedly 'cheesier ', there's been some solid ones. |

just listen to him talk about the quality of music around and how he doesn't like "cheesey danceable pop" when he's made a couple of iffy tracks of his own to be nice about it. then right after that, he starts blabbing about his plans to work with rock group vocalists.
then of course he starts to crap on tiesto a little, which yeah i can't disagree with...but still pretty distasteful...
then he starts in about how he invented the re edit and for live sets...i know he's been doing that sorta thing for a while now, but come on paul...your edits aren't exactly the stellar productions you seem to demand quality wise from the industry...
i've always at least had a level of respect for paul...even if i don't particularly like his newer work, but i dunno...it might have just gone out the window...
don't sit around and point out what flaws others have and then be completely oblivious to your own... |

| its never good to talk negativily about collegues in public when you're famous, kinda low... Especially for a dj where a lot of creativity and personal taste is involved. Just like with soccer, when you dont like it you are a sub, you speak with your feet... |

To get things strait atleast pauls vocals have a meaning, and you can't deny that. Paul puts his feelings into these productions unlike 99% of djs.
Most of the vocal tracks do just as well in a club with out the vocals as they do with. so it is not like they are bad productions, its just a bad choice to use the vocals imo.

Did he ever say that they were steller productions? If you have ever heard them though, they deffinately work in a club, and thats the only thing paul is trying to get out of them. |

Personal opinions don't force people to make different decisions that are, in the first place, based off of personal taste. If you made a track that you liked, and for one reason or other some people called it , would you change it just to make them happy? |
