The way I see it... if you don't have the resources to investigate crimes effectivly, then you are forced into using perhapps overly harsh detterents.

ppl get less for raping and killing others, doesnt make much sense

as long as you don't do anything stupid - and use your common sense, you're pretty much fine in most 3rd World Countries. It's worth teh risk

Forgive me if its already been said (cbf reading through 4 pages of posts)

I think she is innocent, but there are other aspects that really piss me off bigtime.
1. The fkn country is full of drugs, but try to bring any in and we will kill your ass, hooray for hypocrisy. I bet its cheaper to buy that much marijuana there than it is here and risk your life trying to get it in.
2. Why is our government not giving a about one of its own citizens who might be lined up in front of the firing squad?? If this was an American they would be on it like stink on . Shows how much we are valued eh?

its all very well to say that our government isnt doing anything.. but dude, what can we do??

and you use the americans as an example.. yet we all know what everyone thinks about them..

catch-22??

Anf got it spot on.

Just because she's got blue eyes, I bet if soups got busted and was pending the death penalty, nobody would be stirring such a fuss :toothless

this is what happens when you don't follow my smuggling techniques 101.

Our relationship with indonesia isn't a great one right now so they do need to tread carefully with something like this. I think if the judgement was definately death we would see the government step in but not until that is a decided for certain.
