they get paid to dj and tour, not do public relations
when they get paid to suck off fans after the show then they might do just that, until then they have no obligation and it's simply what you'd like a dj to do |

yeah i totally agree with that, people will say yeah for the amount they are payed then they should be nice to people, but fact is that isnt wot they are payed for and that isnt wot people go to see. yes if ur a nice guy then it can well help but its not wot they are payed to do |

i had the pleasure of hanging out with armin for a few hours. i was beside him during his entire set too. what i have to say about armin is that he is a big bafoon. he is not the person everyone thinks he is. i am not saying he is a bad person, but he is just a big goof that seemingly does not have a brain. moreover, you can tell he thinks he is better than what he is. a bit too cocky for my liking.
sasha, was a prick in a way, he wanted my girl to stand and wait for an autograph for 5 hours when he could have taken the 2.2 seconds to sign the vinyl. he didn't even tell her directly, he told his cohort who just held up 5 fingers. thus, we kept thinking 5 mins. anyway, we left the club without his john handbecause we needed to leave abruptly. in my opinion he could have signed it since it was vinyl by him that she paid for... 5 hours waiting? come on ... - |

| Dave Ralph is a real Jeckyl and Hyde, nice one minute, going off on a crazy violent tantrum the next. Throwing , grabbing djs by throat etc. Saw him lose it at a party once, heard similar stories from friends later on. |

Wow man, that's funny that's the first reply, I saw the topic and immediately was going to say how AWSOME Johan is. I got to meet him @ WEMF in Canada, he let me come behind the barriers and by the stage to take pics, and even went out of his way to get something to autograph for me. He's my favorite DJ in the world (coming to NY again next weekend!!!) I met him a second time @ Avalon and he was cool enough to let me in the DJ booth to take some pics and even talked to me for a few minutes outside the club after the party (at like 7 am ahaha). I even met his wife at Trance Energy (so random ahah). Probably the nicest DJ I ever met.
Tiesto on the other hand... can BLOW me. Like three time's I've tried to even get a handshake and he just blows you off... screw him ahah. |

| Never met any mentionable DJ's but I would think Oakie is a true a$$hole. Maybe it's just the media impression I get (I know, this is the root of ignorance) but I haven't talked to anyone who ants and raves about how nice he was either. |

not true, when i was getting started i waited 5hrs outside a club to meet him and give him a demo. he was so impressed that i waited that we sat & talked for like 20minutes. really nice guy. it sucked not being 21 |

| Umm the few times I have talked to Armin he has been a really cool guy and he doesn't strike me as being dumb at all. He puts on a great show, always smiling and dancing and really into the music...which is all you can ask for from a DJ. But I must say the coolest DJ I have ever met was Christopher Lawrence with Ferry coming in a close second...great guys both of them. |
