I think the remaining 33% are just people who are afraid to trust the conservatives or the NDP. A lot of people don't agree with the conservatives' social policies or the NDP's economic policies.
I think I'd vote NDP though. Layton IMO is a much stronger leader than Harper (whom a lot of Canadians still distrust from his days with the Canadian Alliance, etc). The green party isn't bad either, but it's a wasted vote. |

by the time an election is called, people will have settled down and will consider their vote more carefully. |
There is nothing to consider. Voting for the Lieberals at this point is indefensible. |

i dont care who u vote for as long as its not the liberals...
even one of their own Liberal MPs said that the Liberals where making us a northern banana republic. So very true. |

the difference is that there is now solid proof that the liberals stole money and used to it finance their campaigns which in effect curtailed the basic fundementals of democracy by buying the election. Not to mention that it came out that chretien's brother was involved as well. Id say thats a pretty good smoking gun. |
I honestly dont understand how this is any more significant than the Auditor Generals Report, which broke it down using numbers?
Why are we relying on testimonies when we have the facts in front of us? These inquiries just make me mad sometimes. They are so far removed from the average person, that they stop thinking about it. I truly do consider myself an informed person(less so when it comes to politics), but i find it hard to get anything real out of this inquiry.
Shouldnt facts(a report, with cold hard numbers) be more conclusive than testimonies?
PS - does anybody know of a good spot to learn about CDN polotics? like a noob guide? an unbiased noob guide? If thats even possible with politics... |

I was thinking, Canadian Politics should be a REQUIRED course to get a high school diploma. Too many Canadians are too ignorant about Canadian politics, or they think that we're the same as America.
edit: OMG CP24 was talking to people on the street in TOronto, and people still wanna vote Liberal because they dont like the other options. UGH!! This boggles my mind. Just how dense are these people?! |

They stole before, they stole now, and they will steal again!
Put the thieves behind bars! As for the Ontario Liberal liar thank you all you morons who put a check mark beside his name! That guy deserves a face whipping! |

That's kinda what civics is supposed to be. It's mandatory in the new curriculum. |
