How many seats did they win in 1993?
They have since been purged, reformed, and refounded. The same process has to happen with the Lieberals.
Oh and by the way, you can't even come close to comparing that to AdScam or JudgeScam, or the other Lieberal boondoggles (HRDC $1 billion lost, $1 billion gun registry, etc.). |

Harper is to the left of John Kerry on most issues. Also, Harper was born and raised in Toronto.
The funny thing is, Iran is one of the most conservative socities on earth, and he has the gull to call Harper a redneck. :haha: :haha: |

I want stiffer penalties for corporations. I want laws that hold executives responsible if corporations break the law.
I also want there to be more discussion on things like polygamy, legalization of marijuana, and legalization of prostitution. The damn authoritarian conservatives want to keep government out of our lives? By regulating so many aspects of them in order to be "traditional"? Give me a break.
Honestly, if it doesn't infringe upon the rights of others, then it shouldn't be illegal. |

you are in SUPPORT of polygamy?
Yeesh |

I'm not necessarily in support of it; I'd just prefer to be open to new ideas instead of shutting them out in the name of tradition, like most conservatives do. Of course, something like polygamy is a bit extreme (and even the liberals wouldn't be stupid enough to start promoting it) but IMO the only reason most North Americans aren't in favour of it is because of our cultural backgrounds.
You should tell us WHY you're against polygamy. I would assume that your reasons would be similar, if not the same, as the typical arguments against SSM, which are entirely founded upon culture, tradition, and the values adopted by our society. Despite the fact that two men cannot make a child, it IS possible for a productive society to exist where men are allowed to marry, just as it IS possible for a productive society to exist if polygamy is allowed.
It's not like an issue such as incest, which does negatively affect society physically by weakening the genepool, etc. Theoretically, incest should be fine too, so long as incestual couples don't procreate. But I suppose that would just be a whole other mess to worry about.
There was once a time when laws were founded upon custom and convention. We've hit the point where custom and convention almost seem like anachronisms. Canadian culture has grown so vast that custom and convention means nothing, because nobody has the same customs or conventions anymore. |

that's only an indicator of how inane the American political mentality is these days. Harper is hardly liberal in any issue. |

No it just shows you how socialist canada has become.
PS anyone who would vote for Martin cannot critisize americans for voting Bush. Martin was finance minister during all the theft and yet some would vote for him anyways just because.... Thats just as ignorant as those who voted Bush just because... IMO. |

Hmmm looks like if another Iraq type war erupts and Paul Martin is in power we will be going to war. |
