excactly what it says, this is the thread for all the summer signing(and goings on thread) that will/have been done. might be a bit early though :conf:
ah well, heres what i have already.
Liverpool:
andy johnson from palace
Jose Reina Villareal goalkeeper
Daniel Alves from Sevilla
i am fairly sure those are definites.
now for the not so definite ones.
Baros is definitly of his way out, but not sure where yet. THe main one is a exchange for vicente at valencia. I also heard barca offered money plus javior saviola for him. Not sure if thats still on the table.
Players out
I dont know of any players who are definitly leaving, or clubs they have signed for. But these are the players i think will leave - dudek, kirkland, mellor, smicer, kewell(not sure about this one, depends on his attitude and if we sign a replacement), diouf - hes been offered to villareal for jose reina, dont know if they accepted him or just money.
now for gerrard. Before the great CL run it was looking very likely he was going. Various deals where being talked about. 30 mil(stg) plus various players in exchange - bridge, gallas, parker and duff were all mentioned. I dunno if how true those were, specially duff.
Now its looking likely he will stay at liverpool though.
Barca:
they have signed gallas, van bommel and ballack. Also have signed Santi Ezquerro a striker with Athletic Bilbao.
General
RVN might be leaving united, few rumours of him oing to madrid with a possible exchange for raul. Nothing definite. Robinho has gone to madrid. Joaquin is looking likely to move to chelsea. Reyes is staying with arsenal
Any one else have any?
Now i want ones people are confident of happening, i dont want any bull links from tabloids(especially the s*n) |

Are you sure about ballack ?? Thats the first thing i've heard about it. As for Van Bommel, its like 99.9% sure but he wont announce to where he is going till after the season.
Gallas ? ing eh we dont want no chelsea dude. Btw also the first thing i heard about that...

nah, they're like inter. always sign too many star players for their own good. I just hope Juve gets a decent and a half playmaker next season. Pavel is getting old and isn't the natural "creative" playmaker that juve needs. Juve definately needs another defender too, bringing Chiellini back from Fiorentina would be very helpful. |

| Ok I over exxagerated a bit, they are wining the la liga, a feat inter haven't been able to do for approx 2 decades now. But it's a fact, Barca are too rich for their own good. Each season they sign too much. They'd be better off signing less and creating a solid compact team. Too many teams these days are signing too many players each season. It's becoming quite like the NBA... except worse, because there is no limit, a team can spend $X amount of money each summer transfer season. Well the two teams in the final Liverpool and Milan live up to the fact that creating a team overtime pays off. Neither of them go ape when it comes to the summer transfer market and now they are rightfully facing each other in the CL final. |

personally i hate barcelona but i disagree with your comment that they are signing stars ... besides ronaldinho none of the players they signed were considered stars ... deco, eto'o, guily, marquez were all considered very good players but not in the star category and barcelona buy from mediocre clubs and therefore get good deals and that is something madrid should learn from instead of sticking to their policy of only the top player in every position whereas barca buy potential stars who usually end up turning into one like eto'o and deco have |

Couldnt have said it better, except for the first part :p
and dont forget youth players that make it to the first team and grow into 'stars' ;) |

my biggest area of interest in the transfer window would be who gets to buy vincent kompany ... hes still young and apparently has unbeleivable potential
right now no transfer is 100% confirmed ... barca could be current favorites to land van bommel but another club could swoop in with a bigger offer ... united in aprticular need someone like him to fill up keano's boots since he wont be seeing much action next season ... |

Barca haven't signed Gallas or Ballack. That's pure speculation at the moment. Gallas isn't going anywhere as Chelsea regard him and Terry as their first choice CB. I don't see Ballack being transfered for anything less then 20 million, and even if that happens, i'm sure more then a few teams will bid for his services.
Also, whoever suggested ManU will trade RVN for Raul needs to lay off the crack. Rauls had an abysmal season and there's no way that Fergie would let his ace striker leave OT in exchange for Raul who's untested in the premiership.
These are the transfers i see as being likely in summer
