Consider it a stroke of luck that someone was willing to hire a lamer. Consider it a fact that if the lamer can't cut it, then the Army will drop him in a heartbeat as well if he can't meet training standards. I'm kinda in tune to these things in my job. We have to recruit about 10 to get 7 or 8 decent soldiers.

Hey, fool... Who do you think took Iraq most recently and Kuwait and Afghanistan before that? It wasn't the clerk typists nor the Air Force or Navy. It was the grunts. You can't be that ignorant I hope... The U.S. Army has, in fact, weighed in on and met all political decisions on the use of force. Yes, they are quagmired at the moment in Iraq, but the rank and file will tell you if they laid waste to the country contrary to political limitations on the use of force, that they wouldn't have a problem. Bottom line purpose of the Army is to use force to meet political aims of the governing body, but their purpose is not to influence Iraqis nor any other conquered nation to accept political solutions in their own country.
