DANNY TENAGLIA tore a hole in Toronto's arsehole this morning. Non stop amazing dirty tracks keeping everyone moving.
He truly is a DJ GOD in my eyes.
Stayed till the end.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it!!!
Can't wait till he comes back.

Holy fack man! My first time seeing Danny T and I LOVE HIM NOW! hahaha! SO AMAZING!!!!!! What other dj do you see flashing super bright lights around the room to the beats of the music?? NO ONE! He comes on the mic and pumps up the crowd, making us laugh and yell out! So much energy!!!
His entire set was facking crazy. Just like shiftergears said, you wait for a time where the song isnt that good, so you can go for a washroom break, or other people go for smokes, but frig, there wasnt a bad song! You didnt want to leave! You wanted to dance all the time!!! I usually dont drink much water, but lastnight i had like 9 bottles, and my body was actually using it! (which means i didnt have to go the washroom much, the body needed the water) hahaha!
After going to viva on friday, the next day on saturday, a muscle in my chest kinda hurt. Then started dancing at DT, and woah, for sure pulled something somehow! hahaha! so i'm standing there bobbing my head, not being able to dance cause its SHOOTING pain when i do, pure torture not being able to dance!!! i go to all the bars, asking if anyone has advil or anything! asking some TAs to, finally i ask someone, they tell me to ask fayraree. I ask him, he somehow has a liquid gel cap thing, i take that, an hour later the pains gone. then making up for lost time and being SUPER HAPPY i could dance again, i just fackin lost it!

I remember i came back from the washroom, and you were going super duper insane dancing! i looked at one of the TAs around and mouthed "holy !" with super smiles hahaha! hey, we finally got straight home without detours hahaha! yes! always love us partying!
MIssed people i'm sure, and sorry!! everyone i met as always was super energy and super awesome!! cant wait to party again!!!
Danny T is the facking man!!!!!!!1 come back soon!!! i know what to expect more, and will sleep untill an hour before i need to leave for the club hahaha! and bring food! LOL!! |

so Dan, Sean and I got there pretty early..around 10:30ish. The place filled up pretty fast.

Highroller.....I am one of those ppl you can think of for this night as being my very FIRST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! and wow....:gsmile: I am so happy it has finally happened! Next time though..I am staying till the VERY END!!! mark my word!
and shoutouts to the rest of the TA's that made this night memerable...RJ, Aaron, Jay, Lars, Jenn you guys rock!!

I think my brain is still too fried to give a proper review, but to set the record straight: Danny T didn't just throw down a marathon set last night...he took the club on a crazy, filthy, dirty, and just plain AMAZING experience. Everybody should witness a Danny T party at least once in their life.
Music was great, but it did have it's up's and down's. Vibe though, that's a different story. The vibe was just unreal. "Carwash" crew was almost unbearable at times, but luckily they cleared out fairly early, and the amount of hotties more than made up for it, so it's not a detail that really held the party back.
Anyways!! Graham, Jen, Marg, Ray, RJ, Kevin, Lars & Steve: as always it's a pleasure tearing the dancefloor up with you guys. It definately wouldn't be the same without you :)

So...
This is my first post, and a proud post at that! I am one of the A/V techs at The Docks, and I can say with full accuracy that his set finished at approximately 5P.
I would know, cause I was on the "late" shift for the event (came in at 6A and worked past the end). I did the lights from 6AM until he finished (with small breaks here and there).
My review? Amazing, I actually didn't mind that it went on so long. It was a shame that it thinned out so early (2PMish) and that there were only about 7 people left at the very end. None the less, he kept playing damn well right up until the end, despite the dying "crowd".
My favourite part of the set? His slew of "vocals" as he had said. When he was playing just the vocals of some major classic house tracks... man oh man! Gotta love them female vocals!
My favourite part of the night? Hanging out with Danny and his manager, Kevin, afterwards. Those two are a funny pair and made our little "load out" a sure funny one. I can't wait till the next time he graces us at The Docks with his pressence... hopefully I'll get to work the whole shift that time, not just the part where people are starting to leave.
For now, I am off to bed, because I have been up since 5A and it's now 10 minutes to midnight and I have to work tomorrow again (gotta love corporate training and such).
