Shout out to Fayraree for convincing me to come to DT instead of DD….if I had gone to DD with my friends (half of them ended up at DT around 6am) I would’ve been depressed after reading all these reviews literally…Thank you Fahad, ur like a big bro for real! Thank you 4 ur energy and ur fun personality!!!!
The night started after I took a two hour nap from working all day. Woke up around 9pm got ready, decided NOT to wear my heels tonight cuz I had a feeling I would be there for a looooong time…GOOD DECISION….first time at an event with NO HEELS lol…took Go train to Union and met Fahad then met up at Walkindude’s condo…p.s buddy ur place is da bomb!!! Very tastefully decorated and CLEAN hehehe. Met up with walkindude’s girl Mehnaz-super sweet!!!! And Marty-ur mad cool ! it was fun partying with u, sorry for all the guys tappin’ ur ass I tried to cover it as much as I could LoL…..and BD..…umm dood this guy was MIA the whole night!! lol
Got to the Docks around 12:45am, and DT wasn’t even on yet. Went to the coat check and said dat I’ll come later and I went back at 3 to check my jacket: NO LINE UP lol. I think over the course of 12 hours I went outside ONLY three times for a smoke break. Twice in the night and once in the morning….I COULD NOT STOP DANCING PPL!!!!! I was having a wicked time, TUNE after TUNE after TUNE woooooooooooooo smoke break uhhh DID NOT happen I just lit mine in there lol. I was dancing all over with other TA’s, going up to ppl and pumpin’ them up cuz they looked like they were all dying slowly, just spreading love and energy… the vibe was tooo good to just stop! Fahad man U CAN DANCE!! I don’t know about how u said u sucked but U WERE RAPING THE FLOOR MAN!!! :crazy: :crazy:
The DOCKS was amazing, the setup as usual was excellent. The crowd- a mix of ppl, I met some cool ppl other than the TA’s- ppl from Hamilton, Mexico and London!! Super fun dancing with all of them. Danny T was doing some funky ish with his two flashlights but let me tell u it totally set the mood for the deep house set he played….sick sick!!!! I’m not a house fanatic but this was one event that really makes me want to balance my trance and house treats! DT was just relentlessly dropping BOMBS on us ppl….I you not this man does it so u don’t even realize…as a first timer at his event I was amazed and I will NOT miss any of his future events in TORONTO guaranteed!!! At about 9 am in the morning the place started to get empty and it was nice and sunny outside, but I still didn’t want to go out yet….he played some kick ass CLASSIC house and some really good tribal tracks by the noon mark :eyespop:...around 12:15 or so he came on the dance floor and just started talking to ppl and dancing with everyone HE IS DA !!!! at 1pm I went outside for a smoke and WOAH, I just wanted to go home and shower…..I felt like my skin was deteriorating from all the salty sweat (eeew nasty) So I bounced around 1:45, got home. showered once and twice, ate a lil snack and CRASHED!!! Woke up at nine, went on TA for a bit couldn’t find the strength to write a review so went back to bed!!!:thepirate
TODAY- SO MUCH PAIN BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!!

Walkindude- Haris thank you for having me over at ur place and for the red bull hehhe…u are so cool and an energizer bunny…I remember u saying to me in the wee hours of the morning “u should come outside with us girl, u haven’t even taken a break” I still couldn’t go haha…all good it was amazing paryting with u and ur girl…..tell her she is sooo sweet we WILL party again soon!!!
Tiesto4Life- buddy u are awesome!! Pure jokes and amazing energy….Finally met u and now we gotta jam at Tijs JUNE 30TH…..PURE ghetto styles hahahahaha…P.S ur friend Diane, AMAZING DANCER!! tell her I say hi !!:crazy:
Shiftngears, Sekoya, Preppie chick- holy f’in AMAZING dancers!!! U guys got some kick as foot work and stamina….kept me going!!! Thank u for a fun night of dancing
Kabelicious- Girl u get mad props for those lights and ur wicked smiles!!! Ur friend was super nice...soo nice meetin u!!
Playa24_7- DAN DAN ur my man!!! OH MY GOD I saw u from a distance just going CRAZY and ran up to u started dancing u provided MAD energy even though u were suffering from pain, I remember Fahad passing u the liquid gel tab!! It was wicked to meet u and dance with u….hope to see u soon!!!
Magikb, RJ, The Highroller-----YES I LOVED the DT experience I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF it LOL,Stereoprincess,Dance2dabeatove ur hair girl), cono_sur and the guy with the NY hat super cool and a sick dancer!!!! if I forgot someone pleeeeeeeez forgive me I may have not caught ur name, this was my first time meeting any TA’s and let me tell u it was phenomenal…CANNOT wait to party in the near future with most of u! :)
Chris (NFC_wave) if u read this just know that when I got your “Adagio for Strings…wooo” text msg I was almost gonna run to Republik for my trance fix… hehehe but hun this man OWNED me and everyone in there so we’ll definitely party it up at Tiesto!!
Fahad, mere bara bhai ( my big bro) u are the most fun, hype, caring and social individual I have met! Ur extremely considerate and u are most definitely a ladies man in my books (and I’m positive in Jenny’s too) Jenny if u read this u have SCORED urself a sweetheart from heaven girl…I wish u both the best in future and I wanna meet u soon!!!! Nada you are WAY TOO sweet! LOL!!! I thought all those people that you started dancing with randomly were your FRIENDS!!!! I remember thinking, she keeps going to all these people on the sides and they just flash this big smile at her as she grooves in front of them...and they pick it up a notch! Must be her friends! But NO! You were energizing the crowd at large...

After that marathon (and the 2hp.ca one too), I find myself contemplating going to his show at Century Club. I'm still grooving in my seat at work today and not getting much work done (meh...at least I made it in).

I DID mention tranceaddict and how I am new to the scene so I set my goal after he kicked my ass last time in October so I promised my TA friends that I'd live up to the challenge!!!! I also remember getting cut-eye from one of the people standing around the booth so I decided to head out! LOL!! The guy just finished 15 hours so I knew he had to get some rest!!! Maybe you're confusing me with the OTHER brown guy (shorter, no goatee) that was being a total Danny T whore, talking about his career and stuff...had to be nice to that guy though because he holds a picture of Danny and me in his camera!!!! ;)

The "wouldn't stop talking" part sounds totally like me though, although I was making a conscious effort to let the guy go... |

I tried to get some people to go to give me the extra push to go, but no one can handle it. Knowing Tenaglia he might not stop playing until 4pm Wednesday and I have a meeting in the morning I can't miss.
Will be a very last minute decision. |
