Heya folks...

I am not sure if you'll be able to find a set list, because with a 15 hour set, it's kind of hard to keep track. He also kind of plays with the audience and works them, rather then a set plan.

There were definitely A LOT of tracks that I recognized, and I have only been really into house for a year now. He even busted out "Keep pushin" the original classic version twice as well as the original vocals (just vocals, no music) towards the end.

It was definitely cool when he told everyone to come up too. Everyone kinda was like "y..ya...yah?" so they did. I would have too, but I had to bring the lights up, close up everything and such... but I still got to hang out with him after that.

As for The Docks staff... we take GREAT pride in hiring a great staff. If you should ever have any problems with our staff, please tell a manager. The managers at The Docks care a great deal for the reputation of The Docks, but more importantly, for the patrons that attend our events. We all want to make sure that you guys are happy and enjoying yourselves, because after all... without you guys, we are just an empty box with crazy lights, great DJs and one of the greatest installed soundsystems on the planet.

I didn't even realize it was light outside until a smoke break. Very glad I managed to bring sunglasses with me for this event. The patio was sweet - nice view of TO and plenty of places to sit and chill.
...
One of the funnier parts of the evening was playing with lights up front around 7-8am and some dude says to me. "Put those away, bitch, it's not trance!". I just kept playing and he walked away swearing. Well eff you too dude! I'm not giving you/bugging you with a lightshow I'm just dancing over here. If you don't want to look, then don't watch. Grrrrrrrr.....such rudeness!

LOL half my review is going to just be responses to you guys because you jog my memory!!! :D
You said it Kris...the patio ROCKED for breaks, especially when you have your fellow TAs to hang out with! When Cuzo and Richelle finally left I had to resort to making friends with other people at the bar to keep myself alive!!! LOL!! It was right about that time that Nada left, too...sometime in the afternoon...was the first time I partied with you girl and you frickin electrified me...can't remember who said on the patio that you are still in there going crazy while all the rest of us were recharging/retiring!!! More on you in my review!!!

And re: the "put those away bitch" comment!!!! HAHAHAHA I got the same thing when I wanted to pull out my glowsticks at the end...to help keep me going...(I don't know what it is about moving neon lights but for some reason they keep me going). I was thinking of taking them out but I was hesitating because a TA (can't remember who) told me that DT hates glowsticks...so I go up to one of the hardcore girls (when there were like 10 people left dancing, around 3:30 pm) for her opinion on whether it was a good idea and she said the sweetest thing: "If it makes you happy, DO IT!!!" LOL!!! So as I pulled them out, I STILL doubted myself and wanted a second opinion. So I approach this guy who seemed to be close to Danny T (I saw them talking to eachother on top, next to the booth earlier) who introduced himself to me earlier as Carrie (sp?) from Boa...and before I even said anything he was like, no no NO put those away!!!!!!

So I did...and after that when we were talking to THE MAN I needed closure so I asked him myself what he thought of glowsticks and he said that there was this one party where the room was pretty small and he wanted to have a darker, more "mature" setting for the music and crowd...so when some younger kids pulled them out the older people were like
WTF"?!?! (his words). But then he said in a huge room like the Docks as long as people are in their corners not distracting the other people, then it's cool. LOL lesson learned! The Holy Trinity Alliance...that's a different story though!!!! :D

Wow! Finally read through all of the posts as of yet and it seems like the general consensus was that DT tore off the roof at The Docks. Sadly disappointed that I couldn't make out to that wicked-ass party, all I know is that the next time he's in time I will definitely make it a point to be a part of the "DT experience" and hopefully he'll do a marathon set like he did Sunday night/morning/afternoon

Cheers to all!!!

So after getting sleep for the next 18 hours, and now sitting at work…. Not wanting to do anything, Its time to do the do,
So around 11:30ish everyone met up at my place… and then we headed out to the Docks, made a quick stop for BD so he get some Mickey Dees… gave him hell for not eating earlier…and making me miss out another 20 minutes of DT! (though it doesn’t help, he will do the same thing again)

Got to the docks, the line up was fast and we were through it pretty fast.…and surprisingly DT hadn’t started yet so it was all good…
(shout out to the DOCKS crew!! you guys are friendly and courteous nothing like the S!! at the GUVERMENT!)

DT came on at about 1:30ish and the party just went on from there…the stuff he threw down was unbelievable…after reading everyones reviews I noticed, no body complained about it being packed) The place was packed but there was enough room for everyone to dance and go nuts..
Danny just kept on bringing it with no end in sight...normally, most of the time at the GUV and other places people leave by the early hours…but Danny kept everyone there for a long time after 9am. I thought I would be able to last till the end and take on the DT challenge! but I gave up by 12pm..

Fahad, (dude, I feel like Ive created a monster!!) but Im glad your into this and your nuts for being there until 4:30 but its worth it if you got to shoot the with DT!. Nada it was a pleasure meeting you…and yes TIESTO is god!! Met some new TA’s and some old ones… Playa24_7, RJ, dance2dabeat, kabelicious, cono_sur, magikb, Tiesto4Life and others whose name I am forgetting right now… good partying with you guys!!!

All and all it, was a great night, my second DT show and definitely not the last... see you guys at Global Gathering or even before that
:D :D

preppie chick
Danny Tenaglia is the ing man!!! What an amazing night!
Me and KKEFKA got there pretty early to find the crowd already rocking it hard... DT comes on and lets everybody know that he won't stop until they kick him out!!! At this point, I was already shaking my ass off, little did I know that he was just getting warmed up! At 5am DT said he was tired of waiting for people to come from other clubs, and he was gonna start dropping some bombs, all I could say was " Ohhhhhhh noooo, here we go"! :eyes:
Wow it was amazing to see everyone getting down and dirty and loving every second of it!
As for the crowd, the carwash crew was a little too much at times, but partying with good peeps definitely made up for it! Numerous smoke breaks, followed by great convos also made the night better ;)

Jay: you're a ing machine!!! You didn't stop all night, and loved every second of it! Atta boy!

Graham: thanks for convincing me to go, and not giving up! lol! I owe you! Great times chilling with you during and after the party! and yeah DT is def one of my fave DJ's now!

Ray & RJ: don't ever forget 'Choons before poon', 'Beats before meat' :D

Kris, my dancing partner, awesome partying with you once again! All I gotta do is point and you know what to do! ;) Great times with Michelle and Keith too!

Margs: great times getting down and dirty with ya til 1:30pm!!! ohhh and the attempts to get DT to drop a C&C track cannot be forgotten... lol... Once again thanks for the hospitality!

Sean: you're such a sweetie! I had an awesome time dancing with you!

Steve: It was hard keeping up with you, great times tho! ohhhh and about that thing you wanted me to hook it up, it's already in the works, next party for sure! ;) :stongue: lol

The usual suspects who also made this night awesome cannot be forgotten: Jen, Peter, Kevin, Kelly, Dan, Frankie, Richelle, Aaron, Karen, Rich, Nada, Fahad.
I'm sure I forgot to mention some key people, I'm still not thinking straight! Sorry! The tribal beats are taking over my brain...

Overall, an incredible night and I absolutely loved the DT experience!

As the man said himself: "House music is good for the soul" :tongue2
