noooooo you missed my point, you can't make a track like Traffic can you.

It's the song selection that makes him what he is today. Every liveset i've heard with the exception of Disney (which actually was pretty good) kept me groovin' and on my feet.

But that is something theoretically any dj can do, isn't it? I mean is he playing ultra underground blackhole tracks that are not released. Im not trying to say Tiesto is a bad dj. But I don't feel like there is much that separates him much from any other dj. At one point I would have agreed with you though...

Well as far as I know he produced it. And my point was I don't expect to be wowed by Tiesto's mixing but rather his tracks and production.

I never argued that his DJing skills were phenomenal, the topic is on whether Tiesto sux at DJing, which he doesn't. He can spin. :)

And my point is that where he wows crowds is by his signature tracks, like Traffic. When Oakey or someone else plays Traffic it's cloning and lame, but when Tijs drops it, it's awesome. :)

your not getting it dude, Tiesto has a SIGNATURE SOUND. When you go to a Tiesto show you know what your going to get, and thats because of his original tracks that he produces, as well as other good tracks that are tailored to his style. There really aren't a whole lot of DJs out there like him in fact. I think thats really misunderstood, even though he plays a lot of the same tracks as others there is still that Tiesto factor I can't really explain. Thats all I can say really. ;)

Well put, end of discussion.
