Tiesto's Live DJing Skills (pg. 9)

I'm not gonna' argue with you about the people who blindly follow him, cuz they are there. However, most of the regulars actually don't like him now, but stayed for the exact reason i'm talking about. It's like a miniature tranceaddict, without all the 'tards :p If you want one example, look at my recent TLs or favorite songs (in my signature on the forums.) There's not one Tiesto spun song in there, with the exception of ID#4 @ Fortdance, which he doesn't spin anymore. I don't want Tijs to be #1 this year because frankly, he doesn't deserve it. He's working his ass off just like last year, but hes not innovating. Anyway, I digress. I'm not saying the people on the tiesto forum are big brained geniuses who do yoga and are one with the people around him. I guess i'm just tired of all the shizz that people throw out here. Btw, you don't sound like one of the so-called "TA 'Tards" i speak of ;)

Now its for ing teeny TMF blondes to express themselves about what designer bag to buy this week... cos they saw XXXXX celebrity with one.

aka as far from the music as you can get.

There are a few people (myself included) who're there for the music, constantly frutstrated by having a nice forum for 100 or so regulars also there for MUSIC..surrounded by 85000 wankers.

w0rd Chris, it's the regulars i'm talking about :p

I think some people take trance music a little too seriously...

I never argued that his DJing skills were phenomenal, the topic is on whether Tiesto sux at DJing, which he doesn't. He can spin. :)

And my point is that where he wows crowds is by his signature tracks, like Traffic. When Oakey or someone else plays Traffic it's cloning and lame, but when Tijs drops it, it's awesome. :)

first of all Traffic is the most horrible tune in the world.
second even if the Pope himself dropped Traffic in a set it wouldnt be cool.
third Tiesto's DJ skills are pure SHAIT (see TIC2 etc)

PERIOD!

Thank you, Its supposed to be dance music. As long as I'm grooving I don't care who is behind the decks. Although, I do have my favorites.

BTW, Tiesto at space during this past WMC, one of the best parties I have ever been to, PERIOD. You could not pry me off the dance floor.

Give me a break.

Reminds me of the Tiesto thread in the Canada section that was announcing him coming here. The argument and how it ends is classic though.

It seams that stating an opinion usualy leads to a lot of bashing against you and poor arguments against you that you must have just not heard "insert set here" or "insert remix here" therefore you must just be ignorant. It turns from you bashing to them forcing their opinions down your throat and attempting to justify why Tiesto is good and you're wrong. They especialy love to throw in words like insecurity, ignorance, popularity and bandwagon.
