the next night at Dagobert is what I am really anxious for though! |

ing 1234... holy lame.
Carl should be showcased at a venue like Metropolis or Spectrum. Not ty 1234 with it's pretentious vibe and 7$ beer.
Either way, I'm so there. Go Carl!! |

though I would have liked that too! Just knew it wasn't too likely this time. |

the main reason I remember that Carl gig is because my sister INSTEAD took me to see Sasha and Digweed on their Northern Exposure tour @ the Just for Laughs musuem a month or so later.
:whip:
can't complain now really.. though I have never been to another party at the musuem, and it was pretty dope! 3 or 4 levels looking down on each other.. LTJ Bukem played in another room too. |

| I was really disappointed that Carl wasn't playing Aria but now he's coming to Guv with Hawtin and Acquavivia - as much as I hate guv, i'll probably go if all three of them are there. I've never heard a set I didn't like from Acquaviva. |

I think Cevin Fisher is playing at 1234 this weekend as well..
I can’t find the article anymore but I remember year’s ago reading that Cevin actually named his “Freaks Come Out” track after being booked to play Sona during the infamous ice storm; it was uncertain whether the club was even going to be open but sure enough Montrealers showed how hardcore they were and the place was packed, much to his surprise. So ya.. the freaks come out!!
Is the John-Richie-Carl shindig confirmed yet?
I hope it won’t be right after he plays Dagobert.. if it’s another weekend I am in like sin. Leave it to Toronto these days to throw the big techno parties… NYC rarely even gets lineups like that nowadays.

sweet! now I'm praying the Docks announces Tiestooooo playing the same night ;)
October is going to be a solid month by today's standards for techno outings.. this, Carl two more times in October (3 times in a month w00t) Preach probably twice, and then I am waiting to hear word on a potential *miracle* booking that will blow us all away if it ever gets confirmed.
*crosses fingers* :) |
