^ i totally disagree. i love the 'concert' atmosphere when a headliner is in town. it connects the interaction with the dj and the crowd, and just adds so much more like to the set. if ferry corsten is in town, i'm not just going to have my back turned like hes joe shmo. i think it feels great when everyone is jumping up and down going nuts with you. (i didn't go to LOL, but above & beyond was exactly that with all TA's at the front going crazy).

Haha you know it Jamie! just watch out.. Cam already claimed me in earlier pages of this thread... but i have the perfect solution for you guys...
fight to the death...he who is victorious shall grind..
haha j/k... you both shall get Prime Grind Time...unless Armin is spinning.. in which case all my sexual energy shall be making its way towards the DJ booth in hopes that Armin will sense it and marry me....

What about the rule of just being plain polite to other people?

If you're having to walk through a crowd, especially if it's jammed, to get to the washrooms, other room, smoking section, etc., you're gonna bump some people. I always just let the person I'm trying to get by know by tapping them on the shoulder and saying 'scuse me, or just saying sorry if I bump into them by accident or get shoved into them, as the case is at the Guv on big nights.

95 percent of the time people are way more understanding, and surprise, actually make an attempt to let you by.

I always seem to get way more attitude from the chicks with the perma-bitch-faces, where to them you're either trying to

a) make a lame come on
b) cop a feel
c) invade their god given right to occupy more space than everyone else in a rammed club

as opposed to simply getting by them.

It's crowded ppl, say your excuse me's and apologize if you run into someone else, keeps things civilized in the chaos.

When did it become cool to treat DJs like rock bands and just sit front-center chanting and waving instead of doing what your supposed to do while listening to Dance music and um... dance? That's what a DJ wants to see anyway, not a bunch of cheering fanboys, they want to see the dancefloor jumpin' and shakin' and jammin' to the groove.

Right on! Couldnt have said it better myself.

It bothers me to no end when a group of 7 or 8 people dance in a circle and take up precious space on the dance floor. I go to many clubs where dancing in a circle is not a problem because there is plenty of space. When there is little space as is...say like the guv...then I don't want a group of people making their own space by dancing in a circle and making sure they have space.
