Circa the early 90's there was this (new - for me at least) music that triggered some part of my brain (never before used)...

I dare not say that it was one song over another, but here are a few (of many) that rocked my socks way back when:

Praga Khan - Injected With A Poison
Jam & Spoon - Odyssey to Anyoona
Moby - Go
Felix - Don't You Want Me
Utah Saints - Something Good

The track that lured me towards electronic music:

Prodigy - no good

But what really got me was my first trip to the guvernment, mark oliver solo and Dumonde - see the light.

Never been the same since
TranceGrooves
These 2 tracks jus came to my mind lolz

Antiloop - Beleive
N Trance - Set You Free

well, THE first electronic song I ever heard was:

Hot Butter - Popcorn ("Techno" Remix)

but what REALLY got me into trance was a MP3 CD my bro got from one of his friends back in the day.

it had ALL the classic trance tunes of all time:

Rank 1 - Airwave (Dutch Force Remix)
Blank & Jones - Desire (Silverblue Mix)/Cream/DJ Culture
Airscape - L'Esperanza (AvB Remix)
Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia
Barthezz - On The Move
and about 20-40 other amazing tracks

I dunno if my bro's friend was a TA or not... The guys name was "Anthony"... and i think he went to school with by bro at AY Jackson... In any case, if you're reading this... thanks for the CD, it got me hooked, and I'm loving it :D

I remember seeing Prodigy on MuchMusic back in the late 90s...
Was that the last time they were in Toronto?
Does anyone know if they plan on coming EVER again?

I just watched one of their concerts and it looked insane... Freakin nuts.... It would deffinetly be a good time

Be as one by Sasha & Maria from way back in the day!

I still get goosebumps when I hear that song.

I got into the scene later on, but the one track that just did it for me:

BT - Believer (from the GO soundtrack)

absoluely amazing track. Even now it holds up really well. A true classic.
