Balloon - Can't remember the name of the track featured a sample of a Nirvana song - really uplifting track
Spaceman - Bif Naked (kindo of a gino track) |

Since this is TRANCEADDICT......
my self discovery of trance came at a hefty price - THE SECRET LIFE OF TRANCE II - I have no idea who ordered this cd for the Sam the Record Man store back home (Belleville) but it sat in the import section for months - a double cd - retail sticker of $47.99.......I always used to stare at it and wonder what it was.....hmmmm secret life of trance (I liked that - "no one else knows about this " - I thought automatically - which was a driving force in my musicology acquirements - I wasn't like everyone else and I didn't want to be like everyone else - AND I HAD THE MUSIC TO PROVE IT!!!) I also liked the Rising High logo of the seven circles and thought the track/artist names were interesting......finally after a few months of looking at it again and again I finally bought it without listening to it....$55.19 poorer....I left the store and biked home - but when I got that baby home........
OH MY GOD - HOW I "HEARD" MUSIC CHANGED DRASTICALLY FOR ME WITH THAT CD
this was the electronic sound that I was looking for (I had been through house/acid/hiphop/techno/hardcore/industrial/punk/newwave/80's alternative styles) and for the last 12 years TRANCE has dominated my EDM mind when ever the question of "your favourite type or electronic music is??...."
interesting words I had never heard before:
(SYZYGY) occurs when all the planets of the our Solar System line up. (Especially moon and sun and earth...Solar and lunar eclipses are examples of Syzygies).....Syzygy is the original name for the company Atari, but it was changed because another company already had the name...... In psychology, Carl Gustav Jung used the term syzygy to denote an archetypal pairing of contrasexual opposites, which symbolized the communication of the conscious and unconscious minds.....in Zoology - The association of two protozoa end-to-end or laterally for the purpose of asexual exchange of genetic material - the pairing of chromosomes in meiosis.
FREAKING COOL WORD!!!
(BALIL) a Hebrew word - translates as "he who is confused"
(KIBU) In the mythology of the Mabuiag people of the Torres Strait, Kibu is the mythical island of the dead, believed to exist far to the west
(DETUNE) To tune slightly flat, especially when double tracking, usually to give a fuller sound.
others referring to futuristic technological words and space imagery were conjured in my mind and added to the appeal of this music which was TRANCE - music beyond space and time and in a space in time at the same time.......I lost myself in this music more than any others I had heard before - it made me think and dream and wonder...
TRANCE IS INTELLIGENT MUSIC WHEN WRITTEN PROPERLY/CORRECTLY
