| Daft Punk - Around the World over here. Waay back whenever I saw it on MuchMusic, probably 1998 or so. I know its not trance, but its at least electronic, or so I think :conf: , in any case I was hooked since then. |

and i had to miss it when armin played an encore of it at LOL cuz i took off after he dropped delirium silence, i thought that was the finale...then i missed mindcircus and yet another suburban train...when i found out later he played them i was looking for a gun to shoot myself!! |

Hmmm....
I got hooked on eurodance first... First band was probably either Ace of Base (What she wants?) or 2 Unlimited (No limits)..
Distinctive trance..?
Well, I'd have to say DJ Energy - Set you free... that was mind-numbing at the time. I watched the video 100's of times. still like the track.
After that, Veracocha - Carte Blanche, and then.. Cygnus X - Superstring(my fave of all time) and Rank 1 - Airwave.. All those I remember b/c of their huge impact on the way I understood music.. Those are classsics. I can say 10 years down the road they'll still have an impact on me.
