I don't get it. The guy above said that you get a 99-year visa when you buy property. What would be the point of that if you could only buy property if you're already a citizen? |
in dubai you are allowed to buy, but I think it's only a good option if you are loaded.
rents are kinda high too, alot of the companies pay accommodation though |

*shrug* I checked out some prices and they're not that bad. Saw some very nice brand new little condos for only like $100k. |

for 100k you'd probably buy somewhere in the middle of the desert...
those in good locations (ie good fast investment) start around 500k i think |

That's still not 'that' bad, considering other metro hotspots. Where my parents live just outside Manhattan condos are being bought and sold 2 or three times before construction is even finished and prices are roughly 350k to 400k USD for something you can't even move into yet.
If you want something that's actually detached....
Prices are changing weekly. |

Here are the top 2 most expensive cities or towns to buy a home in on each coast in the US right now. These are AVERAGE prices of homes. All figures in USD.
The most expensive cities on East coast:
1)Greenwich CT- $1,267,500
2)Boston MA- $1,260,000
*Manhattan was not included in the study since you can not buy a 'House' in Manhattan.
The most expensive on the West Coast:
1)La Jolla CA- $1,875,000
2)Santa Monica- $1,766,666
West Coast wins. |

That doesn't sound too bad. What can you get for 500k though? How much would a new 2br condo cost around "new downtown" Dubai? How about if it's right by the water (i THINK it could be both downtown and on the shore, right?)? |

but, the 7 stars hotel is pure bull, cause there's no such thing. Its a very nice five stars hotel. |
Yes there are, 7-Star hotels are International Ratings, not the 5-Star North American and Europe union rates that hotels go under.
There is a 7-Star hotel in Dubai, one in the Rainforest, and another in Japan or around that area. There are only three of them in world, and, from the Travel Channel's special I saw YEARS ago on Dubai's hotel, the whats-it-called, honeymoon suite, is something like $1500/night. |
